Is my clients' data safe and GDPR-compliant?
Linea is built around GDPR: EU-region hosting, session notes encrypted in your browser, and data you can export or delete at any time. A data-processing agreement is available for your practice.
Can Linea read my session notes?
No. Session notes and the text of your therapy goals are end-to-end encrypted in your browser with a key only you hold. We can't read their content – only you can.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your records stay yours. You can export clients, sessions, and notes at any time, on any plan. If you move back to the free plan nothing is deleted – clients above the free limit become read-only but stay exportable.
What if I forget my passphrase?
You can restore access with the 24-word recovery sheet you save when you set up encrypted notes. If you lose both the passphrase and the recovery sheet, Linea cannot restore access – that trade-off is what keeps your notes private. The rest of your account, like clients and appointments, is not affected.
